Terms of Use
Effective: 17 September 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the website at 8seatercoachhire.co.uk (the "Site"), operated by 8 Seater Coach Hire ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Nature of the Service
8seatercoachhire.co.uk is a lead-generation and booking enquiry platform. We act as an intermediary, matching customers seeking minibus and coach hire with a network of independent transport operators across the UK. We do not own or operate any vehicles ourselves.
When you submit a quote request through this Site, you are providing your contact and trip details so that we can source an appropriate quote from an operator within our network. Submitting a quote request does not create a contract between you and us, nor does it guarantee the availability of any vehicle or operator.
Any actual booking contract for transport services will be between you and the transport operator directly. We are not a party to that contract, and our role ceases once a booking is confirmed with an operator. The operator's own terms and conditions will govern the delivery of transport services.
2. Accuracy of Information
We take reasonable care to ensure the information on this Site is accurate and up to date. However, pricing information, vehicle specifications, and availability information displayed on this Site are indicative only. They are drawn from general market data and are provided as planning guides, not as binding quotations or guarantees of any specific price.
Actual prices for specific journeys, dates, and operators may differ from any indicative ranges shown on the Site. A confirmed, personalised quote obtained in response to your specific enquiry will always take precedence over any illustrative price shown on the Site.
We do not warrant that the Site is free from errors, omissions, or that it will be available at all times without interruption.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict or inhibit anyone else's use. You must not:
- Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading enquiry information.
- Use the Site to solicit or harvest contact information for commercial purposes.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its underlying systems.
- Introduce viruses, trojans, worms, or other malicious or technologically harmful material.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or index content from the Site without our prior written consent.
- Use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Site for any user who breaches these conditions.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site — including text, page layouts, graphics, logos, guide articles, and data tables — is the intellectual property of 8 Seater Coach Hire or its licensors, and is protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws.
You may access and print content from the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You must not reproduce, distribute, republish, or commercially exploit any content from the Site without our prior written permission.
Linking to pages on this Site for editorial or informational purposes is permitted without prior consent, provided the link is not misleading and does not imply endorsement by us. Framing this Site within another website is not permitted.
5. Third-Party Operator Relationship
Transport operators accessible through our quoting service are independent third parties. We do not employ them, and we are not responsible for their conduct, the quality of their vehicles, or the delivery of any transport service.
We vet operators against minimum compliance criteria (including DVSA registration, PSV licensing, and insurance requirements) before accepting bookings through them. However, this vetting does not constitute a guarantee of service quality or a warranty of any operator's fitness for your specific purpose.
Any complaint or dispute relating to the delivery of transport services must be directed to the operator concerned. We will provide reasonable assistance in communicating with an operator on your behalf where possible, but we cannot accept liability for an operator's actions or omissions.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage — whether direct, indirect, consequential, or otherwise — arising out of or in connection with:
- Your use of, or inability to use, this Site.
- Any reliance on information provided on this Site, including indicative pricing.
- The acts or omissions of any transport operator arranged through our service.
- Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the Site or any service provided through it.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
7. Privacy
Your use of this Site is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Use by reference. By using the Site, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described in that policy.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms of Use at any time by updating this page. Changes take effect from the date the revised terms are posted. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
