Receive Your Doc Pack
Once confirmed, we send your driver's DBS certificate, insurance certificate, and vehicle documents. Your trip co-ordinator has everything needed for the school file before travel.
Travel Safely
Your driver arrives at the agreed time, assists with boarding, and confirms the pupil count with your trip leader before departure. All arrivals include a direct contact number for the vehicle.
A Real School Trip Scenario
Year 8 at a Sheffield comprehensive needed transport for their annual residential geography field trip to the Peak District — 28 pupils and three staff members, spending two nights at a residential centre near Castleton. Previous years they had used a coach company that couldn't supply DBS documentation quickly enough, causing a last-minute scramble.
We arranged two 16-seater minibuses for the outbound and return journey, with drivers briefed on the arrival protocol at the residential centre. Do all your drivers have Enhanced DBS checks?
Yes — every driver allocated to a school or youth group booking holds a current Enhanced DBS certificate. We also carry out regular re-checks every three years. Copies of the DBS certificate and driver details are provided to your school as part of our standard pre-trip documentation pack.
Are seatbelts fitted on every seat?
All vehicles in our school fleet have individual three-point seatbelts fitted to every passenger seat. We do not operate older-style minibuses with lap belts or unbelted seating positions for school hire. If you have specific seatbelt requirements, please mention them when booking.
Can you supply vehicles for regular after-school sports routes?
Yes — we offer weekly or termly contracts for regular school transport including inter-site routes, sports fixture transport, and after-school club pickups. Fixed weekly pricing and a dedicated driver means continuity for your pupils. Contact us to discuss a recurring contract.
What documentation can you provide for the school file?
We supply: driver's Enhanced DBS certificate, operator's licence copy, vehicle insurance certificate, vehicle MOT certificate, and a named contact number for the vehicle on travel day. If your Local Authority or academy trust requires additional documentation, let us know and we'll do our best to provide it.
Can you accommodate pupils with additional needs or wheelchair users?
We have accessible vehicles with wheelchair ramps or lifts available for SEN groups and pupils with mobility requirements. Please specify accessibility needs when requesting your quote so we can allocate the correct vehicle and a driver with appropriate training. Advance notice is essential — accessible vehicles book quickly.
